In a similar move, Bitget Wallet has unveiled an all-new in-app marketplace called the ‘Shop With Crypto.’ This program will allow users to make real-life purchases using their crypto holdings. The platform will allegedly remain connected to more than 300 merchants.
New Way To Shop
According to a report by Crypto.com, Bitget is doing this to make crypto payments easier and more organic. The wallet would allow buyers to access over 300 merchants, who belong to different niches like gaming, travel, e-commerce, etc.
The best part of the Bitget wallet is that it makes payment easier by incorporating a simple interface into its application. The said interface would allow users to visit the merchants supporting this program directly.
According to Alvin Kan, the firm’s COO, the company would not stop at this. In other words, it would explore more options that can help it further its area of influence by adding more merchants and features.
Kan also highlighted its vision for the future, stating, “Users will be able to scan QR codes, tap cards, or shop in-app across hundreds of brands. We’ve built a simple, seamless, and secure experience that bridges digital assets with everyday spending.”
As a result, it is safe to say that companies like Bitget Wallet are making active headway to make crypto more accessible to the masses, driving adoption rates higher.
