Ripple is on the front foot promoting its native token, XRP, and is making amazing headway in that aspect. Just recently, XRP joined hands with a UAE bank to introduce cross-border payments. Now, the firm has joined hands to boost XRP adoption in an all-new, up-and-coming crypto landscape.
Ripple announced this partnership on May 19th. According to reports, Zand, the first all-digital bank in the UAE, and Mamo, a fintech company that specializes in digital payments, will use this blockchain payment system. Both of these firms will promote Ripple’s revolutionary payment method.
This could completely change the game for XRP and make it more prominent. The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) has granted Ripple the license to make crypto more accessible.
As per Reece Merrick, “allows Ripple to better serve the demand for solutions to the inefficiencies of traditional cross-border payments, such as high fees, long settlement times, and lack of transparency, in one of the world’s largest cross-border payments hubs.”
Therefore, this could open doors for XRP to newer horizons and increase its area of influence on the market.
