Violence has become a pervasive problem for entrepreneurs, particularly those in the cryptocurrency industry. Earlier this month, a crypto entrepreneur was robbed and beaten senseless by an unknown assailant posing as an Uber driver. But now, the French have taken it up a notch.
On Friday, around 25 people were brought in to investigate a possible kidnapping attempt of the daughter and grandson of a wealthy crypto entrepreneur. Currently, it is estimated that the businessman will be charged with criminal conspiracy. The individuals would be tried by the Paris court, according to the latest reports.
The whole incident has been caught on camera. The attempted kidnapping took place on the Parisian Street on May 13th. The video quickly went viral. The footage clearly showed two masked individuals wrestling with the mother and daughter while the getaway van was idling nearby.
The clip also showed a heroic intervention by another person who thwarted the kidnapping attempt. As per the latest report, the victims were related to Pierre Noizat, the CEO and co-founder of Paymium.
Noizat shared his side of the story in a press interview, highlighting the heroic behavior of the people who intervened, as well as the man who used a fire extinguisher on one of the attackers. Noizat, on record, said that the attempt was heroic and exemplary.
